Tasting Notes: ​If you’re going to do a series of Mosaic IPAs, you have to start with a single hop! As an introduction to our Mosaic Series, Sherwood, is an 8.2% New England Double IPA that showcases the amazing Mosaic hop. An abundance of Mosaic hops are added at different stages of the brew to impart a tropical fruit aroma with hints of fresh rose blossoms, before embracing your taste buds with notes of papaya and tangerine.

– Sherwood refers to Sherwood Island State Park located in Westport. Connecticut’s first state park offers all patrons a destination for a leisurely lunch in the shade of the picnic grove, swimming in the Long Island Sound or a chance to view marsh life from the observation platform on Sherwood Island.

– The state bird of Connecticut (robin) is pictured on the front of the can.
