About the band:
Recent History is an alternative dance-rock band based out of the Northampton area fronted by Glen Fant (Bang Camaro/ The Fatal Flaw) along with Ryan Guillen (Tetramono) and Rocco Desgres (Moving Day), and Kate Dowd (Ex-Temper/ True Jackie). Recent History, true to its name, embraces nostalgic musical and cultural references while pushing forward into the future with their own unique sound that combines elements of blues, funk, and soul but also 80’s synth pop, 90’s alt-rock, and the dance-punk sound of the 2000’s.
